Here is what goes into a recommendation and what you can expect from every guide.
How we choose products
Every guide starts with a specific buying question. A good pick for a large family may be a poor fit for one person in a small apartment, so we look at capacity, dimensions, controls, care requirements, materials and the drawbacks that affect daily use.
We favor products that fit the question over products that are merely popular. Recommendations can change when a model is discontinued, its specifications change or a better option becomes available.
Where the information comes from
We check product details against current manufacturer documentation and link to those sources in each guide. Reputable independent testing adds context about performance and long-term use. Customer reviews may reveal recurring concerns, but they do not replace verified specifications or controlled testing.
What we have tested
Most guides on this site are research-based. They compare published evidence and do not pretend that every product has been used in our kitchen. When a guide includes hands-on testing, the page says so and explains what was tested.
Corrections and updates
Products change. If you spot an incorrect specification, a broken source or an outdated recommendation, email editor@mykitchenreviews.com with the page URL. We review reported errors and update the article when a correction is needed.
